The MTAC, founded in 1897, is one of the most respected professional music teacher associations in the nation. It is an organization of approximately 4,700 members statewide. The Fresno County Branch is one of 68 branches of Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC). Chartered in 1927, the Fresno County Branch was one of the first in the state.
